- Objective
The overall objectives of emergency plan are to provide guidelines to control emergency situations and minimize its impact on personal property and project work in an organized way.
- General guidelines during emergency
- Personal Injuries:
- Contact medical centre on phone.
- Contact security control room for assistance and quote the location of incident.
- Inform construction safety deportment of client and state the nature of accident/incident.
- Stay with injured person until assistance arrives and report the incident.
- Fire at work place:
- Whosoever notice the fire should immediately alert the people working in that area to move away.
- Inform fire fighting service immediately and quote nature of fire and its severity.
- Try to put out fire by using fire extinguisher if controllable, otherwise leave to fire fighting personals and leave the place in orderly manner.
- Under no circumstances put your life at risk.
- Communication system:
Important key to effective emergency response is an effective communication system whosoever is observing any emergency shall inform to:-
- Site medical centre.
- Security control room.
- Fire service.
- Immediate superior.
- Client's lead engineer.
