- Cranes:
Confirm the availability of load chart, supplier's instruction manual, load test certificate, maintenance history, and periodical inspection reports. Crane should be operated by licensed operator with helper to assist during march. See that load is free and not stuck anywhere before lifting.
- Trailers:
Confirm that trailers are fitted with suitable horn, reverse horn, head lights, and side
light. Trailer shall be operated by licensed driver along with assistance.
- Forklifts:
To minimize manual handling use of forklifts is a good choice. It can also be used for ascending and descending of materials.
- Hydras:
Shall be used only for localized shifting of materials at maximum radius of 50 M. distance.
- Lifting accessories:
All slings, shackles should be tested and certified.
- Parking of construction vehicles in proper place and notified area.
